Galaxy BMP touch competition in Auckland.
Galaxy have run a masters touch competition on Thursday evenings for over ten consecutive years at Bill McKinley Park on Ireland Road in Panmure, Auckland NZ.
The competition caters for Masters athletes over the age of 40 years old. It provides an environment where the players stay active and competitive in body and mind. Keeping them busy over the winter months.
12 teams, 40 minute games, 10 weeks of autumn 10 weeks of winter. We have two guys running in the comp that are over 70 years old.
We have just completed our Autumn finals last week and Winter comp starts tonight 9th June. Autumn results were:Bowl winners - Beagle Boys. Plate winners - Howick Club. Championship winners - Galaxy.
