Galaxy Touch Academy in Auckland NZ 2022
Galaxy Touch in Auckland NZ ran another successful Autumn and Winter ACADEMY touch programme for 2022. Thirty seven participants attended, ranging in age from 11 years old through to 62. A diverse cross section of participants took part with a number of school pupils through to open grade social, club and rep level players and masters as well. We utilised five of our high performance players to support the coaching, working a tuakana/teina approach in the skill/drills as well as the live games and game based scenarios. We also utilised a graded referee Chris as part of our coaching team. Thanks to our parents for supporting and getting your kids along. To all our players thanks for your enthusiasm and want to learn over the winter months. To our management team of volunteers kia kaha kia maia kia manawanui. Arohanui e te whanau.
