Galaxy teams to 2022 PanPac Games in Gold Coast, Australia
Galaxy Touch Worldwide entered 14 teams into the PanPacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast of Australia in November 2022. They had been entering teams regularly into the biannual tournament for over 14 years. Teams entered were 55mens, 2 x 50mens, 45mens, 40mens, 45women, 40women, 35women, 2 x 45mixed, 2 x 40mixed and 2 x 35mixed. Galaxy Players from Washington DC, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco USA, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast Australia and Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Whakatane, Tauranga, Papamoa, New Plymouth, Wellington, Dunedin and Christchurch New Zealand. There were parents, grandparents and even 2 x great grand parents running around amongst the ranks. A huge part of the campaign was the coming together of friends and whanau, sharing time and making more memories. On the touch fields the teams performed well winning 6 Golds, 7 Silvers and a fourth place.
